On Tuesday our newly selected Year 7 Class Captains participated in a series of leadership activities and team building activities in the city and at the Botanical Gardens as well as a tour of the Shrine of Remembrance to learn about duty, sacrifice and leadership. Students respectfully placed poppies in the outside wall to remember those who died serving in all conflicts and reminded of the values which have sustained Australians in tough times, including mateship and good humour.

Our Class Captains will now take on their leadership roles within their respective classes and lead our Year 7s in making their first year at Coburg High School a successful one. With the Year 7 Kinglake Camp to look forward to next week, they will have ample opportunity to display and develop their leadership skills.
